I think I first saw it on this board used by someone to ridicule someone who "is emo." Now some people on these boards refer to themselves as such, mostly on joke accounts. I think there are actually people out there who refer to themselves as being "an emo" in all seriousness, though. It makes me worry for the youth of America.

Yeah, it's kind of terrifying for me to go to shows now and see 15 year olds that go into pits while I'm two-stepping and they decide to throw punches at me. Like, what's wrong with them? And when did it become cool to look like a 70s jogger when you go to a show? This whole gross shorts, hair with a headband style needs to go almost as much as girl's jeans.
