Here are some recs from the U.K. that you should check out
The wombats-- debut album out in october---hit songs--- kill the director, lets dance to joy division
Young knives----new song "terra firma" from upcoming album is being played on radio in UK...check out Zane Lowe (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/zanelowe/index.shtml) to hear it, as well as other great music from the U.K.
Milburn- 2nd album out this coming week in U.K.---similar to arctic monkeys
Hard-Fi- 2nd album "Once upon a Time in the West" just hit the U.S stores on the 18th.......Not as good as their first album- stars of cctv- but is a solid record...I also recommend the movie "once upon a time in the west" if your into westerns...i think its the greatest movie ever made......
