The Result of a Week's Refrain

Looking into your eyes, like having a picture burst open and the artist's process explained; modern art finally makes sense. Everything is simple, illuminated. Your eyes are glass, glass reflecting my own eyes, bright and wet against the light. Close to tears, choking on whatever meaningless word I am to sing to you, but would you love it regardless?

Yeah, I know I've been writing a lot of love poems lately. Enjoy. And yes, I repeated "eyes" on purpose. Also, there's a chance I'll use some of this in a song later, though I doubt it.

mm. one of my weaknesses is water imagery. another is anything to do with the eyes. so your repetition of that is amazing and pretty much establishes that i love this.

"modern art finally makes sense" - wow. the eyes being a picture is overdone, but that bit is genius.

"I am sing" should be "I am singing"

this is all very pretty. i like. my only critique would be it's a little conventional. but i liked it anyways.
