Satellite Party:
About a 50 min set. I've listened to JA occasionally and love them, this is my first time hearing Perry's SP... they were great though. Very surprised at how I enjoyed the show, only songs I knew were "Mountain Song", "Been Caught Stealing", and "Jane Says".
Between songs Perry repeatedly referred to the crowd as "Portland". Haha... The set ended with Perry sharing alcohol with people in the front row.
8/10
Smashing Pumpkins:
Just... wow. It's like a return to my childhood. A couple of gems which caught me off guard, and a few songs which I was hoping for left off.. Either way it was amazing. Zeitgeist tracks were kind of obligatory, but somewhat moderated. The lighting rivaled an elaborate U2 stadium show and the power was raw like Black Sabbath (Extended jams)... I recommend it to most, especially anyone who's ever been a Pumpkin fan.
United States
Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Hummer
Bring the Light
Stand Inside Your Love
Tonight, Tonight
Tarantula
Starla
Cherub Rock
Glass and the Ghost Children
1979 (solo acoustic)
Winterlong
To Sheila
Superchrist
Doomsday Clock
Heavy Metal Machine
Encore:
Ava Adore
Today
Every rendition was perfect, although some of the songs were played a little different (Ava Adore electric, 1979 acoustic.). I was hoping for songs like Perfect, Mayonaise, Geek USA, Disarm, and Try Try Try, but that just gives me an excuse to see them again and again.
10/10 (what can I say, they're my fav band.)
