well, last night, the bass player in my band and I (the drummer) went to our old high school that we graduated from last year. It was an evening where all the bands in the school play and all...and our guitarist and singer are in college now so my friend and i decided to play an acoustic set of our songs...
the trippy part was...all the kids knew every single word to each of our songs. its seriously the best feeling in the world for a band...its like "damn they know the lyrics better then i do!" it was seriously heart warming. it was like a big campfire atmosphere :) the kids in my highschool own. theyre keeping rock alive.

that would be the fucking coolest thing ever...if i had a band and that happened to me i wouldnt know what to do, its so awesome

Dude, if people are reacting like that, record some stuff, and tour your asses off. Also, post a link to your bands mp3 site in this thread. I know theres a seperate forum for this, but I never check there, and youre cool, so exceptions can be made.

thanks alot buddie thats real cool to hear :).. well , we have no recordings have us that are good...we have like 3 really really really shit ones from like 3 years ago when we JUST started. beleive me, they suck. if you want the link pm me or something....

HOWEVER, in december we are recording a full proper sounding demo and we are currently signed to an independent punk/indie label. So when that comes around im for sure gonna tell you all.

My band was in the process of getting ready to record when our drummer flaked on us, the son of a bitch. Needless to say, well alsop post some stuff on here as soon as we have it recorded properly, instead of on our crappy 4 track.

sooo wonderful, i probably would have cried or something if all the kids knew the words to my songs. but im a wimply little white girl, so there ya have it. :D
