ok this was a year ago but i cant get over it:

it was the end of summer and i was at this club. i met up with a girl that was like my best friend. we went up to the roof of this place and just talked all night under the stars. it was such a great moment, so romantic, bets night of my life. that i night i realized something, i loved this girl. So i went home and went to bed. the next day i called her and told her that i truly loved her..she said that she loved me too. The feeling i got when she said that was unreal, i couldnt believe it. she even wrote a peom abotu that night. i had to go to work like right after that, but all through work i couldnt stop smiling because she loved me too. so when i got home i called her and asked her out...she said NO. she liked some other idiot that wasnt half the man i am. it was so heart breaking. she just told me that she LOVED me. i kept askign her out days later but she kept saying no. after this we kinda stoped talkign liek we used to.

we were best friends before this now we barely talk. id rather kept her as a friend that told her i loved her. i could tell her anything, i could talk to her for hours, now i barely talk to her. she acts liek nothing happened. i hate it. i fuckign hate it. i hope none of you have to go through this.

This almost made me cry....I was in a similar situation. My best friend in high school and spent all our time together. We loved each other very much. We really should have gone out but we decided it would be better to go off to college as best friends rather than ex's. Well now we're both in our 4th year in college and we don't talk at all anymore. I know this sounds really corny but I think about him when the seasons change because, like you, we used to sit outside and talk about everything for hours.

I feel for you man...It does get easier with time. Be happy for the good times you spent with her as friends. If she is going to turn you down for some tool, let her find out her mistake the hard way. She missed out...too bad for her. Another girl will come into your life that completely blows the other one away. <3

i can relate to that too. My ex, she kept telling me she loved me, that she needs me, all this, and when we were together, we really were like that. Then, she one day ups and says she can;t handle our relationship and leaves me right there. Now I can;t even talk to her despite a year of love and devotion. In anycase, I hate girls that play games. It sounds like she just wanted someone to talk too and nothing else, but than again saying "I love you" is a big risk on her part. If you want to be back in her life I would suggest just trying to contact and be friends again.
