Alt Press reviews have no credibility with me whatsoever. Some of the mistakes they've made in the past, gargh!

That said, Water will be epic.

the rhythm guitars in Thrice's past 2 albums have been real close to Chevelles.

I can hear Chevelle in Vheissu. Fortunately Chevelle aren't as horrible as most bands on Modern rock radio.

Thrice will never be anything near talented or as good as Mono period. They aren't even on the same level. Thrice is fucking garbage compared to Mono.
