If this is at a major traffic area...no...in front of my house...yes
In what way would this be disturbing?
in the way that any system that allows the government to monitor you this closely is disturbing? I mean, sure, having it at one intersection isn't a big deal. But I think in putting one up, they're saying that they're testing before they put more up.

Jesus, some of you need to start taking Lexapro!!! You see a camera at a traffic light and you think that the EEEVVVVIIILLLL government is watching you in your car singing along to Brand New and rubbing your picture of Jesse Lacey on your nipples.
Those cameras are to monitor traffic conditions in areas of concern. If you got into an accident at that intersection and the other guy was trying to blame it on you then those cameras would save your ass.
Relax...stop listening to everything Sean Penn has to say.

Exactly.
And honestly, I'm not really sure why there hasn't been more outcry in London. I know I really wouldn't feel too good about living in the most watched city in the world.

They don't really mind. All the sane people left that country a couple hundred years ago.

That doesn't bother me in the slightest.
As of right now, I'm all about government interference. I've got nothing to hide. I'd actually prefer if the government was really really involved. This, of course, being that the government had all the RIGHT people there.
