brief history of ottawa:
ex-current / pre .nema. formed in 93, broke up in 94. their only release was this split and a couple of comp songs (not exclusive tho).

def. the best crustcore band ever.

What about Sunny Day Real Estate? They were considered one of the frontrunners of emo in the early/mid 90s

personally, my fave emo band from the 90's is Jawbreaker, followed up the The Get Up Kids.

i dont listen to much of it. im more into the modern day garbage.

though i do enjoy get up kids, sunny day and Farside.

Don't have much 90's emo on my computer. Here are all of my bands: Indian Summer, Heroin, Still Life, Embrace, Jawbreaker, Moss Icon, Native Nod, Swing Kids, Antioch Arrow and of course Portraits of the Past.
