In Reverie = nifty.

But, your incessant posts about Saves the Day is ruining the band for me. So quit it.

Brand new is on that trail.............

And I'm just tired of you. Sorry if you can't pick up on some of TBS' lyrics. Sure, they're not rocked science, but whatever. Listen if you like, don't if you don't. You have some seriouslly boring posts.

Guess what? I saw BOTH bands less than a week ago, and for TBS the whole crowd was moving, and for STD, seriously about a quarter of the place left. and bands that put out amazing records that sound different? Filter, Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, Radiohead, and those are just off the top of my head.

poor excuse, you give STD fans (like myself) a bad rep. And you start making everybody hate them. Which is sad :(

Don't rag on STD, they have good stuff :( I am going to cry now :(

I first bought In Reverie with only hearing Anywhere With You, i was hooked on that song. I pop the cd in and run it through and figured, i just wasted 10.99 for one song. But i go to work that day and i have the songs stuck in my head, and i'm hooked on the cd now. I was the same way with SWYA, i've learned you need to give it more than one or two listens, Its one of the best of 2003 I <3 it. I have TBC, SWYA, and CSD i do like TBC the best but this is right behind it. Its amazing, people who don't like it aren't listening

If I could make it through even one listening of 'Anywhere With You' without uttering "what the fuck is this shit" maybe I would give the album a chance!!

Poor-

I think Brad Nowell is very overrated, everyone thinks that since he died he should be respected or looked at as a "god". The songs he wrote were comical yeah but that's the end of it, They were rarely "good". He got what was coming to him and deserved what he recieved. When you fuck with shit that could end your life then you deserve the consequences. I'm not going to get in the comparison of Chris Conely vs Brad Nowell because its hard to compare two different styles of music. I prefer STD to Sublime though.

First off... If anyone is a true Sublime fan, they were because of Brads intensity and emotion... No, not because he passed away or his lyrics were "comical" and what a one sided statement... I mean, its your opinion, and you are entitled to it, but maybe if you were old enough to fully understand and appreciate this band, then you'd have a better argument.. In no way is Chris Conley even close in comparison to someone with such craving for musical bliss as Brad was... In addition to say he was deserving of his consequences because of the lifestyle he chose to live is a bit harsh, and you probably have no idea what drove him to that point...

I agree but..
I'm old enough and I can't stand Sublime

To each his own, I mean Its an aquired taste.. Im not saying he has to like them or listen to them, but he should understand that most fans have been fans from the beginning and not just after Brad passed away... His argument is bias and uninformed ...
