This kind of goes along with the discussion in the "NY Gives free cancer treatment to Illegals" thread but I just saw this story and it makes me believe more and more that the current administration is extremely messed up.
Mexican gang rapes and kills 2 teens from Houston. Now Mr. Bush is trying to get the one gang member off death row because he was not informed of his rights to contact the mexican consulate about legal assistance. Makes me sick.
Read it here. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,2185753,00.html)
If this does happen, I see this as a huge win for illegals and you will see a surge in similar claims from other illegals.

Capital Punishment shouldn't occur anyway so good move Mr Bush.
They brutally raped and murdered two innocent teens?
I think the death penalty is the ONLY way to go. But that's just my opinion. Eye for an eye.

Of all the things the President has done to overstep his authority, this is my favorite.

I mean that in all sincerity.

Bush probably has a lawn that needs mowing.

This reminds me of that story about the Border guards who got railroaded for shooting a criminal. Bush hasn't done shit to help them even though there are numerous, valid, questions concerning the case and the overactive DA.

Hello, Hammurabi!

The douche should be charged for his crimes in Mexico. Bush (for once) is doing his job at least semi-properly.

I'm anti death penalty. I don't give a shit what they did, doesn't matter how many adjectives you throw at me I will still be ant-death penalty.

yeah but to be totally honest with you i'd rather kill them now than let them rot in a jail cell wasting our tax dollars to keep them alive...fuck that

Wasting our tax dollars? Do you know how expensive it is for the government to kill a criminal?

It costs more to kill someone that to keep them in prison.

This really bothers me that so many people ignore this fact, or simply don't know it. I think the death penalty is really an ignored controversy in America.

Also, Mr. Trigger Happy is trying to take someone off death row? Haha, beautiful.
