Let's Kick the Christ outta Christmas! (http://go.to/antichristmas)

each city/party makes sure we have a fat perverted sleazy biker type guy with a big gut and a beard (hygiene optional) to play santichrist. we usually pay the guy with a 26 or 40 oz bottle of their favourite liquor or cash or a combination of the two. this guarantees that the dude actually shows up. santa suit is not necessary (they are too expensive to rent) but you gotta find some kinda red jacket or shirt. the hat is easy to get. just make up a costume from second hand store crap.

santichrist is an obnoxious drunk, a dirty old man, you get the idea.

he needs a throne.. we usually get some old ratty armchair or lazy boy and you add some cheap Xmas decorations. just like at the mall.

you need to make sure you have a POLAROID camera to take pictures of girls sitting on santa's knee (as he pinches their butts etc and tries to cop a feel). the last santa we had brought a bag of coal and lollipops for all the bad little girls. any girl willing to sit on santi christ's knee gets a free polaroid. it costs a little money but the girls really love it in a sick way and it makes for a lot of laughs. this goes on all night. and generates some fun video footage (http://www.dogeatdogma.com/santichrist.wmv).

fun video footage from AC party 2002 (http://www.dogeatdogma.com/santichrist.wmv).

meanwhile the bands play as usual.
2 or 3 good bands is enough.

2003 will be the 5th annual antichristmas party and i hope it will become an regular event for all atheists, satanists, grinches and scrooges.

this year i am going to try something special. i want to have at least one camera live internet feed at each venue location so that we can set up a viewing portal on the internet and advertise the shit out of the entire cross cuntry event. people should be able to go to our URL and have the choice of viewing any of the (hopefully several) simutaneous shows we have running. the party starts on the east coast and ends about 5 or six hours later on the west coast.

i have started plans in montreal - toronto - winnipeg - vancouver - victoria so far. but i need more bands to commit.
know anyone?

i just need more technical information on how to set the webcam site up. if you have any knowledge in this area, feel free to speak up. i am consulting with a few people here. we don't have a lot of time left so i need to know if the internet broadcast idea is possible and affordable as soon as possible.

if we have to scrap the internet idea, the show goes on. we just video tape it and invite all the media we can. just the fact that it will be happening on the same day across canada should capture some people's attention. with any luck they might even clue into the anti-consumerism and pagan philosophy behind the whole stunt.

it takes a little more work than the usual gig, but it has been worth it every time. this thing has gathered more momentum every year.

thank for your interest.

contact me if you want in on this.
