Trying to book a show between northern Oregon and the Bay Area is like booking a show in the desert. Does anybody live anywhere in Northern Cali/Southern Oregon that could help me out with who to contact or where to look? I tried byofl.org and a few places in Arcata. We'll see how that goes.
ps if you wanna book us anywhere else, myspace.com/Cavalier

we've played salem 3 times i think, but the main promoter we're friends with down there (andy from 70x7) said he just got his venue shut down. we definately love it there tho.

Well Lefty's just closed down so I was wondering if that was the one you were talking about... If I were you I'd look into playing at the Ike Box http://myspace.com/ikeboxmusic
They have a pretty big stage (see picture in comments on the myspace) and its a decent set-up...I'm not sure what their policies/payment deal is though. I saw Time and Distance there and enjoyed it. Everyone who plays there seems to enjoy it. Let me know if you need any help and I'll be happy to run over there for you guys.

my band just booked a tour in the same areas and most of the shows we got were from other bands in the areas we wanted to play. the only place I could really help you with would be the Stockton CA area.

dang. stockton is like 3 hours too deep. we're trying to do salem, or > eugene, or > reno, nv > sandy, ut > etc etc
i mean if it came down to it, we would play stockton. thats like 9 hours to there from eugene, and 10 hours from there to sandy, ut. if we got a dcent guarantee (it is a monday show tho...) we could probably afford to drive that far. shoot me a message on myspace and lets talk about this....myspace.com/cavalier or SFLLOYD on aim.
