Name Jill's fish thread.

I got a fish today. And it's currently sitting in a bowl infront of my keyboard, where it will stay until it dies. I wanted some awesome colored fish, but I ended up with a shitty blue or some colored, siamese fighting fish type thing. I also wanted like three or four fish in this bowl, but I was informed that they'd all die. And I don't really want to clean out a fish body for a couple days.

My fish needs a name, and since the only thing I came up with was Cat, and Bagel, I'm going to let the members of this forum suggest names for my fish. I've included a picture if it helps. Let the naming begin.

Name it Hank, or George, only not American pronounced George, George in Spanish, so "horhay". I've always wanted to get an el camino and name it "horhay", fish / el camino, its really all the same, I can live vicariously through you :D

My friend just said to name it Daria, because she says I'm like her. "you're funny in a depressing sort of way....but its good", as she says.

I don't think I'm going to go to sleep tonight.

I will be up staring at my fish in its bowl, wondering if its dead. If it will survive it's first night. And wondering if fish sleep. And if they do, does it sleep when I sleep? And all sorts of questions about my fish.

I have decided upon a name.

Claudio. For one reason basically, the new Co&Ca CD is amazing, and I've been listening to it nonstop. So it only seems right. I even have a spiffy new icon of claudio the fish.

Trent shall be the name of my next fish.

I think Claudio is already ill. The tips of his fins are turning all white, while the rest of it is like blue / green. I dont' think that's a good thing. Noooooo Claudioooo.


EDIT: Claudio has fin rot. Fucking pet store. He came with a little, but now its gotten worse. :(

Yes, I feel bad for Claudio him being all alone. But if I get another fish it cant be the same kind as Claudio...because Claudio will kill it since it's a beta siamese fighting fish. And Claudio doesn't even need a bubbler like other fish, to put more oxygen in their water. Betas go to the surface to breathe air occassionally, it's quite awesome. Then he like spits out CO2 bubbles.

But, I might get another fish for him and name him Trent. I wouldn't do that until his fin rot went away though. I went out and bought medicine for his water that gets rid of it. :)
