What people do with their bodies is their own damn business!
Plus, if I could make a couple thousand a week for fucking I would do it!

why?
there are arguments for prostitution.
gay marriage should be legal.
drug use? some maybe.

Are you suggesting you think people would enjoy fucking you for money...?

Hard drug use has ramifications for the public too, so its not just "your" body in question. Not to mention there's no logical or rational reason for its legalization.
Being high and driving should be illegal though, if this happens.

eh if prostitution became legal.. places for it would sprout up over night and cover the continent.. the price would drop dramatically and it would get to a point of just being the extra $30 you pay at the strip club.
hard drug use should not be legalized and hopefully it never will be. Pot, could be a different story.
Gay Marriage should be legal everywhere.

there are laws for a reason. i may only find two out of the three mentioned covered with validity by laws, but still.
Prostitution - Should be decided by the state and local government not by the president.
Drug use - People should be able to do whatever they want so long as they are not endangering those around them. If they are then laws should be set up such as public drunkeness and so forth. By this I mean a meth houses is not safe, so laws should be set forth. Marijuana though I believe should be regulated just like cigars and tobacco.
Gay Rights - All people are created equal. There are still ignorant people out there, but it will over come just like rights for woman and people or color.

Even though I would not participate in any of the three, i believe they are personal freedoms and should be legal.

My 17 year old neighbor got arrested for prostitution two years ago (in return she got drugs, not money) hah... But anyway, it seems weird to me that the legality of gay marriage and prostitution was even in the same sentence, like it was grouped together.

I assume by president you mean congress as they pass the laws?
Tobacco is becoming less and less legal... We just passed a public smoking ban here. Fact is smoking ANYTHING affects the people around you, and they have the right NOT to smoke with you. Public intoxication can refer to public usage of any impairing substance.
Drugs should not be legal.
WORST IDEA EVER.
Whore houses bred disease.

Hard drugs should be dealt with as a health issue. Marijuana should be made legal. I agree with Ben on prostitution, though society should do its best to make it so that individuals do not have to resort to that lifestyle. Also, I am in favor of gay marriage and polygamy.
It always seems to me that "States Rights" is just an excuse for the south to infringe on minorities's rights.
Pretty much.

even though i am not a fan of smoking pot i could understand legalizing it for medicinal use and perhaps allowing for consumption ONLY in specific locales. though like drinking i think smoking and driving would have to be illegal.
and being someone who has had a few people deal with hard drug use and almost destroy their lives completely, i could never ever vote for such a measure. allowing heroin, crack, lsd or any of those to be legal would be a recipe for disaster and would destroy this country.
prostitution is going to happen no matter what. if they legalized it though they could make it so all prostitutes need tests to make sure they are clean as well as tax it and make a pretty little profit on it.

drugs should not be legalized. not even pot. i think even cigarettes should be banned.
i don't really have a solid opinion on prostitution.
a gay marriage should definitely be legalized

legalization could make it safer for those involved as well?

what do you mean? yes it would if you regulated it. amsterdam makes the girls in the red light district get tested to ensure that they are clean. if america were to legalize prostitution they would need to do something of the sort.

Yes, yes and no way. Drugs aside from marijuana are too easily abused.

recreational drugs, such as herb and shrooms should be legal. about no others should, especially opiates. prostitution is fine by me. and of course gay people deserve the same exact rights.

It would be funny if they passed this all in one bill like this thread.
How demoralizing to the homosexuals.

I tink that Gay Marriage should be legalized. I mean what harm does it do me if a gay couple gets married. In fact it is better for me, because it helps the economy.
On prostitution, I think it should be kept illegal, but if it were to become legal then it should be limited to certain areas of citys or whatever. But I don't see prostittion becoming legal anyime soon. Gay marriage maybe.

yeah its kind of cool but on the other end is ridiculous. for instance the dems were trying to pass a bill on something (i forget what it was about but it didnt pass) and the reps were trying to add at the bottom of it a little addition saying that alaskan forest refuge area will be open to drilling for oil and all that stuff and no longer will be protected. if it passed one of our biggest national sanctuaries would have been gone...thank god it didnt.

yeah safer as far as disease, but also safer for the women (and men?) involved in the business because of legalization.
I also read somewhere, and don't remember exactly where, an essay on legalization of prostitution that would decrease abduction and forced prostitution of girls that come mainly from asian countries. something along those lines
