silence falls around and shadows form from the ground
and here i weep for my eyes were incomplete
for the first time i do not believe what i see in front of me
will my will defy - the waves iron fist?
how brave can one stand
against the force of natures hand?
i am the captain of this sinking ship -
no rescue is in sight

the timing for me is right
to way my anchor in this life
