irc isn't a file sharing program.. it's a little more complicated. i would help you set it up, but i don't remember all the steps to set it up... but i used mirc, which is a really popular irc program.. http://www.mirc.com

my opinion is to get excursion script of irc instead of mirc, i liked that better, but hey whatever floats your boat

IRC is a huge community of different networks devoted to different things. Music, movies, games, and basically any other interest you can think of. But yeah, download IRC from www.mirc.com and if you need any help connecting to any networks to download anything, IM me: iivarockii
