i hate school

i'm thinking of dropping out. what do you think?

actually... i've become the most unmotivated person on the face of this planet in the last few months, mostly because i've come to realize how much i freaking hate being a business major. so i'm in the process of changing my major from international economics to public relations. and yay.. they're in two different schools.. which means two different core curriculums.. and i'm now a year behind. so it looks like i have two semesters ahead of me, 15 hours each, chock full of fun pr tracking classes.

and of course, i decide to change my major AFTER i take my hardest business tracking class, financial accounting. and by the way, it's kicking my ass.

so yeah.. i just wanted to bitch.

what school are you at anyways?
as long as it's a decent school, you could get a job in fucking anthropology and go work at a successfull business. business/econ majors don't get any better jobs for their degrees, they just end up doing twice the work as everyone else and increase their suicide ratios.

I know exactly how you feel mirtizzle! I'm in the same boat in Ohio. I am a business major only because i don't know what i want to do and i have become the most unmotivated person ever, which allows classes to kick my ass. So instead of doing homework for my next class, which is in half an hour, I'm hear posting! YAY, Go AP!:-d

i am sorta in the same boat, i am set to graduate with a double major in the summer but i am seriously wanting to quit, but i know better than to do that. my 4th year here and i have come to hate everything about it, the town the people i just need to get the hell away from here before i go insane, but since i only have 10 or so months left i keep telling myself its not that bad

like the others i am unmotivated, i have a paper due in about 3 hours that i havent corrected and i have class in about a half hour that blows (financial accounting as well)

if you have less than a year left on your current major (before changing) i say stick it out

i'm in my second year but i have enough credits to be a junior. so i would have a year left if i just stuck with business, but what's the point in doing something i hate just to graduate and head out to work earlier than everyone... so i'm switching my major, even though i have to spend the extra year here..

Oh yea.....especially if you go to a hellhole. I wanna go into writing, but my school has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the way of writing. The only thing we had was in the way of a journalism class, which was also taken away, so now the newspaper is decentralized. THe Literery magazine is okay but suffers from the same fate. Add in the personal "love" problems that I'm forced to go though, and I'm ready to shoot myself. College can't come soon enough sometimes.

I'm so damn unmotivated.....i have a final copy of an article due in a few hours, along with work tonight. Yea, I have about a paragraph done too.

So in a way, I know how you feel. Don't drop out though, cause we all gotta get through it. Just find what you like to do, and take ANY opportunity that comes your way. I know you are in college, so it's a different story, but just stick with it and you'll find something cool eventually.

yeh, so im in highschool... i want to hang myself. im just sick and tired of all the immature children and the damn cheerleaders. dont get me wrong i love watching them but as soon as they open there mouths i want to take off all there cloths and have sex with them... :D

i feel your pain, I was a business major for all of a month then realized it sucked and quit. I switched over to Anthropology and from there everything went right for me. Seriously, if you hate your major, then just dump it. It'll be worth it in the end.

Yea I'm a business major as well in my 2nd year, holy shit it blows so hard!!! I must have been drunk and high on acid when I decided to do this. But I'm not dropping out, cause I know that in the end I'll wish I hadn't. Plus I can't think of anything else to do
