I bought tickets for the Catch-22 show in Grand Rapids next Sunday because I like Catch-22 and because I like Slick Shoes, who are supposed to be playing with them that night. But then I get online last night, and I find out that Slick Shoes isn't playing with them, but who is? My least favorite band- The Eyeliners! I'm sorry if people in here like them but I DESPISE the Eyeliners! I guess that's because my stupid friend Britteny plays their CD over and over again and started a band because she wants to be just like that chick in the band (My friend's a little obsessive). Anyway, now I have to suffer through them because I have to see Catch-22 and write a paper for my Music Appreciation class on their performance.

I guess it all evens out in the end because on next Wednesday night, Slick Shoes is playing with MxPx at the same venue and I have tickets for that, too. I'll stop bitching now because I really needed to get that off of my chest and move on. And hey, on another positive note, I'll be able to buy my friend a birthday present at the merch booth, that way I won't have to drive to another town!

for a time i thought the eyeliners and fabulous disaster were the same band. Until i realized FD is a thousand times better. lol
