I'm going on a date this Saturday with a girl who told me she likes Maroon 5 and Coldplay. What bands/songs would you guys suggest? I figure anything with pop sensibilities would work. I'd probably start with Jimmy Eat World and Motion City Soundtrack.

Interesting...the thing about that, though, is because she told me she likes those two bands, I don't want to include those two bands on my mixtape. See: contrived.
