View Full Version : Rape being theft of services?

A judge ruled that the crime committed (multiple rapes at gunpoint) was only theft of services because the woman was a prostitute. This is just ... bizarre. Forcing morals onto the law, should not be done.

I am quite disgusted with this. It literally makes the woman an object.

don't trust craigslist for anything other than a free couch.
So if I'm an accountant, it's theft if people barge into my house and force me to do their taxes?

With a gun being involved there is clearly a question about rape......minus the gun or any excessive force and the judge could obviously question the validity of the accusation.
Hahahah this has to be a fucking joke.

I live in Cali, there are tons of rediculous lawsuits around here but this is incredibly pathetic. Absolutely fucking incredibly pathetic.

I'm pretty sure the charges were different because the girl was a prostitute. Sad how morality gets muddled in with criminal justice.

Oh yeah, it definitely is pathetic. I was just pointing out it was unlikely to be a joke.
