I've been sort of new to this board but i've read the updates for awhile now and i've began to notice A/P is slipping. I mean they do great with posting news about bands and whats going on, but then there's some shit that just blows my mind.

Like posting they saw someone wearing an atticus shirt or heard background music on some show. Big deal, that used to be something when this music wasn't mainstream but it is now you're going to see that. I've noticed many of you feel the same way that its just a waste of time to post stupid shit like that as a news item. I know its not always the webmaster who posts it but they let it on there.

Also the people whom are posting news throw shit in like the recent get up kids/early november post and the whole adam larraza thing. If you want to be considered a credible news site then act like one. I remember when buddyhead was flaming you over this and you guys threw a fucking fit. Now you're doing it. All i'm saying is that now you have readers and you tell them that if they don't like how you're running the site and what you are posting they can stop looking. Don't forget your site would be nothing without your readers. And getting into fights with band members and fueling fires in rivalries between bands isn't what a credible news source does. That's just my observation of how this site is going. Alot of people are bashing it as of late because of these things i just don't want to see it go down as buddyhead has. With the way things are going with the controversey between the site and starting rumors it seems like you're on the same track.

1) i'm not saying run it the way i want it to run. Its his site i know that
2) i was just saying if he wants it to be treated as a credible news site and not to be picked on by buddyhead as it has been before then act like one. ( and don't say this site didn't throw a fit over that cause you know this site did )
3) You tell me where this site would be without the readers. Surely not getting interviews by bands and getting the recognition that it has, so he should have input from the readers.

I never said run it how i want it to be ran i was just giving my input

I agree. That's why so many people have left AP.

Might as well just skip over the news you don't like and don't read it. I understand where your coming from, but this isn't going to change shit. And really, I don't think you thought it would. Your just stating your views, and that's cool. I respect that. But you might as well read the stuff that interests you and not the stuff that doesn't. Peace out. :)

Yeah i mean i don't expect him to change a thing on his site just because of what i say. I was just giving constructive criticism, i'm not going to stop reading AP if they don't change it i was just putting my 2 cents in. To tell you the truth there are 2 sites that i check every time i get on a computer. AP and another message board. I just put in my input. I think the reason I did voice my opinion on it is because I like Taking Back Sunday, Straylight, Brand New, etc. and the shit that goes on is sort of childish, but i'm not judging because i probably don't know the half of it. And for webmasters to talk about a singer's ego (if he has one or not) just fuels the fire. I guess i'm just a firm believer in "Don't Air your Dirty Laundry" So if someone has problems with a member of a band or website i don't think they should take shots at the person on their website ,thats how alot of controversy gets started. I mean this could be a great news site just when you get opinions mixed in it isn't news. I'm sorry for the rambling its been a long day
