as far as i know, wikipedia is the correct answer. Something about a kid drawing a picture of his brother Jimmy eating the entire world.

Yeah it was Tom's younger brothers Jim and Ed who would fight alot. Ed being bigger always one so Jim drew him eating the world. Apparently he got the idea form a carton. The drawing can be seen on their first demo tape.
