i was reading some of the questions of the blink182 interview jt is doing and it says that he is now using gibsons instead of fenders.....when did that happen??? and is he getting a signature model

this happened months ago. he changed guitar sponsors to gibson from fender.

i doubt gibson will give him his own model. they dont exactly just hand those things out. just look at who they have personal models for. not just anyone

believe it or not: his gibson is definitely a signature model.
but who cares about that anyways???

He probably had it custom built, as he did with his fender, when you have enough money people will do anything you ask

I love fender strats, and Gibsons. Either way, they're both great guitars.

I bet it's not a signature model, probably just his own custom made one. I'm glad he made the switch, i think Gibson has a much better quality and they seem more for mature artists and from what i hear blink is maturing. Anyways, Tom isn't a bad guitarist, i'd like to hear some solos to prove it.

those aren't solos.

i'd love to find it but maybe like 5 years ago Guitar magazine interviewed him and he said he didn't play solo's because he wasn't a good guitarist and that he prefered to play the easiest songs possible so he wouldn't fuck up...

Thats his style. Blink songs aren't complicated. But what I'd like to know is, what's wrong with that ?
