You won't believe me when I say I've grown up.
You say I'm not ready, too under educated.
Not ready for the new world or its harsh facades.
What you don't know is i'm more wise than you think.
That i've been through more of this then you will ever know.
You forget this, just to play off your own words.
My fists clench I start to yell.
You never hear me! You never listen!
Why can't you just accept me?
Realize I am what I am
Who you see is me
I am ready to make my own decisions and make my own choices
Stop trying to hold the keys to this cage
I've outgrown it anyways.
