In the spring they ran a promotion where any furniture bought in a certain span of time would be free if the Sox won the WS. Turns out over 30,000 people bought furniture in that span of time totaling just over $20,000,000.

at the beginning of the year they basically said "go ahead and buy as much furniture as you want between this date and this date (it was like a month or so I think?) and if the Sox win the World Series, it's free." they recently said it was 30,000+ people who purchased furniture in that timespan.

my friend's dad bought like 10 grand worth of furniture from them just because of this promotion and i thought it was one of the dumbest things i ever... guess i look foolish, but not as foolish as jordan's

Idk where you all are getting your info from but its incorrect... it's well more thatn 20 million and insurance is covering most if not all of it. The insurance company is the ones who stand to lose a TON.
