Hey ya. I was looking for a band that makes music resembling "Until the day I die" by story of the year but that doesn't have the screaming along with all the "negative" lyrics. I really don't wanna hear "my hands are at your throat, and I think I hate you" a billion times. ya ya ya, it adds meaning and depth to the song...whatever. I heard it's hard to pull off a sound like STOY's without those sort of lyrics but...hey, I can still be hopeful. So ya, any help...a band similar to STOY but not as heavy as some of their stuff like uh...drown the hero or something...ya, thanks.

yeah seriously....for that type of music youll have trouble finding anything. Go listen to Thrice, they have better lyrics then 99% of all bands out at the moment.

Goddamn right. I just got back from the Thrice show tonight, and they were fucking amazing. One of the best shows that I have EVER seen. totally unbelievable. Poor Excuse is just a douche bag, but stinko man how can you call Thrice lame when you have the SN stinko man? If you dont like them, good for you, but personally, I dont value the opinion of someone who has so far made nine posts, and from what I can see, theyre all pretty asinine.
