Idiot Pilot: Official Thread

So for a while I was feeling like their new album could take them to the top but now i'm not sure sure. There is no buzz for this record (Wolves) and it hasn't even been put into stores (digital release only wtf)

I saw them live recently and thought they put on one hell of a show! Tons of energy and the sound was great.

What are your feelings on these guys?

Are they legit or just another wanna be radiohead?

I am definitely a fan of Idiot Pilot-I really love their new stuff! They are awesome, as good as radiohead? in my opinion-NO WAY. But I still think they're really cool and enjoy listening to their music. Whats your favorite song?

Love everything that they have ever put out. One of my favorite bands.

Favorite Song: Last Chance, Militance Prom, Open Register, Theme From the Pit, Elephant.

i've loved idiot pilot since strange we should meet here. wolves is good but every note of strange we should meet here still blows my mind. the title track is still my favorite.

as for another radiohead.. i don't think the two are even comparable. both bands started with completely different styles. the two bands are heading in different directions. idiot pilot seemed to start with a radiohead-esque sound but with wolves is definitely moving away from that.

are you kidding they seriously developed the atmosphere and mood a lot better on wolves, its got a lot more to it, they took their screamy electronica and mixed in some ambience and pop sensibility with it, which i think is awesome. strange we should meet here is good but i dont find it as solid and well rounded a record as wolves.
