Sweet, my mom just said that i can go back to amsterdam for new years with my friends when they all get back from college for the holidays :D!!!!!! I went there on my grad trip last june and had the best time ever....man i cant wait lol
has anyone else been there?

I've been to Amsterdam before....not much there but high schools and one small city. Not in great condition.

If you're a fan of legally smoking marijuana and having sex with disgusting Chinese prostitutes, then Amsterdam is the place for you.

I guess it's an okay city, but I prefer pretty much everywhere else in Holland. And France is just superior in every way.

you obviously have not thoroughly walked through the red light to say "disgusting chinese prostitutes"....yeah im no fan of the whole "whore" thing either in dam, but seriousy...most of these ones are pretty hot. and yes i enjoy the weed.

france is in NO way better dude :) beleive me, i live right next to france. i can see france from my house (and italy if your wondering lol...quite trippy dont you thnk?). Paris is awesome and probably the only place in france id ever recommend to someone...and myabe some bits of the south of france.

We must have walked through different red light districts. All I remember are nasty, nasty foreign whores.

I'm not going to make any statements about whether France is better politically or economically, but in terms of places to live, France is the best. Paris has more than you could ever want in a big city. And if you're a family man or you want peace and quiet, there are beautiful little towns like St. Remy. Provence kicks ass.

I'm from Oregon. I currently live in Lexington, Virginia. I, too, hate the winter in Lexington. All the popular kids call it Lex Vegas.
