The Wind Blows The Leaves

You say you want me to have the best
But you always gave me your worst
Told me who I really am
Yet you don't even know yourself
As the ending begins to wind down
You don't mean a thing to me
I got what I came for
And you're still trying to take it away
Look at the stretching of my lips
Compared to back then
Everything with my eyes fell
And your arm around my shoulder
Was just another of your plots
Just walk away with all you've done
And realize you don't mean a thing to me
The trees have bloomed
Now it's autumn's time
To let all these orange leaves fall to the ground (and blow far far from here)
The mess left on your hands
On you're one to talk
Compared to that appearance you once beheld
I realize how much now really means to me
And how far I'll let then actually drift away
