Inspired by a friend's desire to make a "Best of Thrice" album for his friend, I'd like to hear your own thoughts. Fifteen tracks, as much from any era as you'd like. These are YOUR fifteen favorite tracks, not singles, live staples.. it doesn't have to be an "equal blend" of albums.

I find it so hard selecting goodies off TAITA because it's all so good. And dowg, where the fire tracks at? It's a nice little list though, I like.

i dont have identity crisis or illusion of safety (yet)

but my list for the last three albums definitely includes "night diving", "digital sea", "atlantic", "stare at the sun", "hold fast hope", "under a killing moon", "paper tigers", "red sky", and most of all "for miles".

That's one of the qualitys I like about them though, ya know? Not being able to pigeonhole'em. Anyway, with you being a badass AND your love for Mr Oberst, I can look past this.

man, cold cash is actually one of my least faves on artist. and hold fast hope is my second fave on vheissu right behind for miles, it's in 5/4 timing which is completely weird but they make it sound so natural, it has its highs and lows (i really fucking love the part where it calms down), the vocal melodies are so sweet and like, legendary sounding (for lack of a better description haha.)

and actually i personally like including one instrumental in every tracklisting. when you consider the fact that night diving is my favorite instrumental and the fact that i think artist in the ambulance (the song) is highly overrated, im not budging on this one haha.
