Subject: Why LME doesn't have an "Image" ... read on, read on.

Body: We found this on a msg board, and it's never been more true about Punk and Pop Punk. It's acutally said by someone we know and a band we know, that are the coolest group of guys around.

heres the quote:

"I have more punk in my left pinky nail then you. Ha, I love saying that. Punk is not an image, it's a belief, it's lifestyle, it's a stand but... the one thing it's not is a competition. So I could care less if you are more punk than me. I just said it cause I think it's funny. "

It hit us and its the reason why we dont fall into the trends of wearing something to make you look cool on stage, like the whole scene clothes (see www.yourscenesucks.com) (http://www.yourscenesucks.com)). Everyone in LME wears what they like and are comfortable in, we write what we like and if you like it then hell yeah, if you don't, give it another listen. Just like the person who said that quote, we don't write our music to sell it, we write it because we enjoy it, want to share it with you and hope you also enjoy it.

We also remember even Andrew from Jack's Mannequin saying:
"I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday,
When did society decide that we had to change and wash a tee shirt after every individual use?
If it's not dirty, I'm gonna wear it."
Yes, he's right. Who makes up all these rules? What if we never wanted to wear a belt with our jeans again, would you guys care?
Of course not, because you guys are here for the music, not the image. We're not traveling to goto a job interview, we're here to have a fun and good time.
Heres even a lil example, Mark has had his pair of shoes for years now, he will not buy new ones for shoes, he claims there his lucky pair, they have holes in the heel, the toe and the side, they're pretty much a sock, but I bet none of you noticed that? Which proves again, this is about the music, not what type of shoes we wear or how we style our hair.

When it comes down to it, we love each and everyone of our fans and that is why we try to stay active on the myspace.

We wish we could give you our CD for free and wish music was free, but to be honest, in order for us to play the shows we do and record new music, we need to sell cds. Everyday a band puts there blood sweat and tears into music and all we ask for in return is your support and loyality.

Leave us some comments(not msgs, our inbox overflows!) on your thoughts & well try to respond.
