I wrote this a few days ago, and now even more so comes to play in my reality...Hope u like..

To exist in a world drawn out by lies and deceit
Stepping to the plate, just to fall back on defeat
Fearing whats bound to to come and await that final lucid dream,
Wanting to take that last solid breath that takes forever so it seems
To exist in a place where love hides beneath the core of your soul,
Taking out bits and pieces to scatter around and some to unfold
Where a mindless wander becomes your secret sanity
Surrounded by the social scene consumed by judgement in vanity
Where you wait forever to discover what you already knew,
and hold on to those sacred moments only in your mind can you construe ....


Its written a bit childishly, but its how I've been feeling lately... Im just sad.. =(

Sorry to hear about you and Jon. Hope you feel better - I'll dedicate a song to you come Tuesday to try to cheer you up.

I think that the poem is fine, but I disagree that all emotions are mature. I would agree that all emotions are valid, but the way you choose to express your emotions are not necessarily un-childish, so to speak.

Not that your poem is childish, it's quite nice. :)

Its for the better, right, I mean...Everything eventually comes to an end..Sometimes shorter than others.. I dont think I've ever been this sad in my life...

hey angie im anth. when i get really sad i just complain to all of my friends and then soak in their sympathy and that helps me. And relationships are such a hassle. I was in one for a year and 3 months and I ended it because i didnt like where it was going. I just wish we could all love without the politics of it all. but so now were not strangers anymore and if you want you can call me a friend and you can complain to me and ill give you sympathy.peace out

Thats sad. I don't know what else to say other then I'm sorry and not to get to hung up over it. It sucks now, but in the end you'll be a better person from it.

Since he's not online at the moment....Tuesday is when he does his radio show at Washington and Lee.

Aha... thanks, Mike...After I posted, I read that somewhere in the general forum and I figured thats what he meant...

Well....things are still wishy washy... We've agreed to remain friends, and talk. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to maintain the "friend" status, but we'll see.. Im feeling better and I have a new perspective on things this morning.. Thanks everyone, for being my shoulder to cry on...
