I just wanted to see if other people have seen this movie and what they think about it.

It takes on sort of the same animation style as the movie "A Scanner Darkly" but its a little different..

I think Richard Linklater is a genius for this movie...

I actually just saw this a couple days ago, but its becoming one of my all-time favorites real quick.

Its about this kid, college aged I believe, and he's in this dream where he meets these random people, and they all talk to him about existential things and mostly just about life...the "deeper" things in life, stuff we forget about. Then he wakes up...believes he was just dreaming...but no, he's still in the dream. He's trying to find a way out of this "dream." It's hard to fucking explain, you just need to see this movie, I fucking swear.

Seriously, make it a rental. Then buy it. Or steal it. Just see it.

i really like that movie, some of the conversations are awesome... the only downside is that it is kind of long and sort of plot-less.

But it's very visually interesting, and anything about dreams is pretty interesting to me.

Not having a normal plot is (in my opinion) very important to the overall message in the movie...

I love this movie, it blows my mind every time I watch it. Almost every scene, every discussion and every different animation style, each one more bizarre than the last, blows my mind.

What I love about this movie is it can be both a movie where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the pretty colors, or it can be a movie that really makes you think and ponder over a lot of the existential, psychological questions that it brings up.

It's funny how everyone knows A Scanner Darkly and no one has heard of this movie, when imo it is far superior.

Scratch what I just said, best buy has it for 9 dollars, no sense in paying almost 5 to rent it when I could just own it for the 9.

Yeah I had a little problem finding it though, best buy and circuit city doesn't carry it and my local record store was out of it. So I actually found it at fye, i was surprised.
