I can't exactly finish this right now. My mind began drawing a blank as I continued to stare at the picture that was on the computer screen in front of me. It's tragic how lifeless we are...how uninvolved in saving the future. "The betterment of ourselves is what we aim for...and with a gun is how we do it."

Watched as she crawled across hardened earth,
a stricken forced to crawl a kilometer away for something to eat,
no strength flowed through the girl's body,
and the vulture that followed knew what was coming.

Never certain of the outcome,
so fragile and weak she was,
never given a chance to grow stronger,
left to crawl through rock and dust,
forced to fend off creature's lust,

World shocked by famine while wasting precious meat,
rising up only head to the TV,
while famine doesn't strike at home in the hearts,
they flip the channel so guilt doesn't strike so hard.

Entertaining thought how sickening it is to stare at a person who's emaciated,
while culture differences strike opposition to this belief,
when staring down a runway at women modeling clothing,
it's a perfectly beautiful thing.
