I own a Zune, so I just re-downloaded iTunes for my Last.fm account.
But I only have like 500-600 songs on that.
My Zune has, 858 songs, and like 48.7 hours.

So do I, but when I plugged it into my computer the other day it updated to the new software by itself. It's missing a lot of the features that the old Zune program had, so fuck it and fuck it hard. It looks pretty nice though.

I always ignore the updates.
I had no clue that it updates like that.
Does it change the layout?
Doesn't matter anyway for me, my screen's broken haha

yeah, but now you can share music wirelessly with other zunes and keep the songs, rather than them deleting themselves after 3 days. So you can get whole albums from other people now.
Or you can just get full albums the easy way and pirate them.

The player changed its standard gray look to one with a bunch of animations and shit. The layout on my actual Zune only changed a little bit, mostly just the typeface.

Yeah, that is one of the best advantages it has. Now if only people around here would get a Zune other than an apple iPod I could share :-D
I didn't know that. That's pretty bitchin'.
That was one of the first things they told me, before I bought it. It's a pretty important feature.

626 songs on my itunes.
Why so little?
I own every CD for every song on there. I'm big on buying CDs, especially after I toured with a small time band that lived off of the money they make from sales.
I've downloaded music of course...but don't have any on my itunes.
Oh well. I'm lazy.

Ehh. It's hard to say.
iTunes is a piece of SHIT, so I don't use it unless I absolutely have to.
When I last had a full Windows Media Player, it was just bordering on 2000 songs, but that was months ago...
I don't know, 350+ full length albums as of now along with singular songs
About 95% of all the full-lengths are store-bought.

People spend too much time now collecting music in gigabytes instead of actually really taking time with releases. The general forum is really bad for it. The same people blow their loads in like 5 leak threads a weak.
If there's been say 5-10 albums a year that you really enjoy then that's a great haul.
I probably really love 5-10 new albums a year, but most of the music I gain during a given year are older releases that I finally got around to picking up.

I usually know what albums or songs I don't want to hear again. Normally it's newer stuff, like albums I'll just try out and see if I like, shit like that.

Sometimes I have music in my library I forgot I had, and just don't really enjoy that much anymore.
Not too often - but ya know, sometimes. But I like to listen to new albums and then decide whether or not to keep them in my library, and recently, I seem to delete more than I save.

In the past year or two, I haven't listened to one album and thought "Hey I used to really like this and now I can't stand it... DELETE."
Once I get an external harddrive in the next month or two, I'm sure I'll end up keeping a few albums that I don't listen to very often, but for now, I'm out of room on my computer and keep only albums I really love.

Yep. Usually only 5 or so releases I truly care for per year and the rest while mildly pleasant, are ultimately forgettable. My listening habits are rather consistent so cracking the rotation is somewhat significant on my end.
