Although I am confident this wont compare to Knocked Up or Superbad, we also have to realize that Apatow loves this type of comedy equally. You need to look at all the movies he has been a part of. He has a wide range of stuff that he likes to write. Everything from Heavyweights, to Freaks and Geeks, to our beloved 40yov/KU/SB type films. As much as he appreciates the honest, down to earth (and still unbelievably crude) comedy, he also loves completely ridiculous, makes no sense slapstick comedy. This is coming out poorly written, but we just have to look at it in the anchorman way. Just sit down and laugh at the stupid shit.

To anyone doubting the quality of the movie, it currently has a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes (Although, yes it only has 18 reviews thus far). I think people are only doubting it because it is a spoof and the spoofs that we've been treated too over the last few years haven't been very good.

If you are making refference to Walk Hard, it is good and hilarious just like you'd expect but it doesn't have the heart I guess you'd say that the other Apatow films recently have had. It's more like Anchorman than 40 Year Old Virgin or Knocked Up.
Pineapple Express is suppose to be out this Summer.

Negative. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
It looks bad because Jason Segal is the least funny person in their group, by far. Such a one dimensional actor.

The movie was down-right hilarious. I saw it last night at Midnight and not a lot of people were there. But it's definantly hilarious. Not as "smart" as the other Apatow films I guess you'd say but still a great time.
They showed the trailer for his newst directed movie and I'm dissapointed in what I saw. Very.i diagree completely. i think a lot of the jokes fell flat. when something was funny it was hysterical, but everything else was just not good IMO.

I would put it as my least favorite Apatow film, don't get me wrong it still has its extremely funny parts, its worth a view and John C. Reilly is dead on but it was kind of a let down. And i've never seen any episodes of The Office or Blades Of Glory, but I am going to have to say that Jenna Fischer has a killer body.
Walk Hard also includes Martin Starr, Jonah Hill, and David Krumholtz out of the whole Apatow crowd. Oh and you see the trailer for Jason Segel's new film Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Eh..put it at the back of the pack, assuming the others are some mix of Juno, Atonement, Walk Hard, Sweeny Todd, I Am Legend, Charlie Wilson's War. It was fairly entertaining, but I should have just seen Todd since I've already seen Legend and Juno and Atonement aren't in town.
