I haven't seen any threads about gauged ears, but I'm sure some folks on here are into it. I'm at 2g right now in both ears, and my goal is about an inch, maybe more if my lobes permit it. I've been stretching for 6 months or so now, y'know, takin' it slow. I do sea salt soaks and rub my holes with vitamin E oil daily. I've also had my left nipple pierced for about a week now, with the right one soon to follow.

Anyways, share your success or horror stories, goals, achievements, or whatever else.

4g, kinda wanna go bigger, kinda don't. I hate how some people see it as a competition. To me, small plugs look tasteful.

What size did you initially start at? If it was a normal sized hole and you went up to 2 gauge in six months it is guaranteed you fucked it up. I started with a normal piercing and am currently at 1/2 inch. It took me about 3-4 years to get to where I am and I have been at this size for 4 years now. Also vitamin e oil on a fresh stretch is not good. The soaks are a good idea though plus they just make it feel a lot better.

I could never gauge my ears. I'd look like a fucked up monkey.

Your lucky you guys can pull it off.

:shudder:I'm not so lucky hence my non gauged ears.

That's cool if you're into that.. but I'm curious what all of you plan on doing for careers. Honestly.

Being female it's a lot easier because my jewelry is glass and at first glance looks like a normal earring. Plus when my hair is down, it covers it.

Or you can go to a plastic surgeon and with a stitch or two you can sew up a stretched lobe and it will look like a normal lobe again.

My internship is very laid back and most people in the office are pierced and tattooed. Its a media company so it makes sense, but for entry level positions I have applied at a lot of different companies and not one has mentioned anything in any of the interviews or call back interviews. I also have a lot of other piercings in my ears and my tongue pierced. It just hasn't been an issue so far for me.
