Starting a Band in Alexandria, VA

I'm a guitarist/singer in the north VA Area. My band split up a few months ago, and I'm trying to get something new going, preferrably in the style of some emo-core, but I'm open to like some ska style or something. email or reply with what you wanna do, what you've done, and how long you've been doing it.

i was in a a band called Best Left Alone or Half Forgotten Holliday....we were pretty good. but we never had practice cuz i was always in trouble and other reasons.
