I'm looking for some decent modern rap/hip hop to add to my collection. Right now I listen to stuff like Aesop Rock, A Tribe Called Quest, NWA, Biggie Smalls, etc...

Internet hight five for Aesop Rock.
One of my favorite albums from this year is Bayani by Blue Scholars, so I'd definitely recommend them. "Loyalty" from that album is my favorite track of the year, by the by.
Spank Rock's YoYoYoYoYo was pretty good too.
DJ Jazzy Jeff brings the hip-hop joy. His latest, The Return of the Magnificent was fire.
Talib Kweli drops some solid stuff too. Eardrum be his latest.
MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah are great., both individually and when collaborating.
I've been loving Junk Science lately, if you can get a hold of their stuff.
Common's someone to check out if you haven't already. "I Used to Love H.E.R." from his '94 album Resurrection is insanely good.
I've got a bunch of hip-hop I haven't listen to yet, so I might have some more recommendations.
That is, if I don't get stuck on Jay-Z and Nas' debut albums again. Goddamn, they're great.
