i wanna know if this girl likes me of if she's just being nice. so here's an e-mail sent me for you to base your opinion on. i'm really not sure. we dont know each other very well. she's a 3rd year english major and i'm a 1st year history major.

Try and quickly figure out what kind of moves you need to be making to get what you're looking for out of the relationship. She's got this "throw it out there, reel it back in" thing going on. She says she's worried/misses you, then she says it sounds silly. That's so she's giving you the boost she wants to give you, but if you don't want it, there's always that retraction.

Don't email her again, that'll make you look desperate. With text and email communication, if the answer is a no, she'd probably rather not tell you no, because she thinks you'll feel better that way (although all it does is drive us nuts). Even if she does, it'll often be a lame excuse with a vague possibility of a future meeting.

My recommendation: Find her. Somehow. Then ask her out in person. Then you'll know for sure.

yeah don't email her again...it's a game, you have to be patient. if she emails you back, don't instantly respond. play hard to get, like she is..try and get that upper hand where you control the situation and shes waiting for your response, like you are now. Just don't be too eager..try and play it cool where you don't really care..that'll make her more interested..
