Any ideas?
here are two possible quotes I would like to use:

"We may not raise enough money to change the world, but we may be able to raise enough people to change the world."
-- Rob Dyer (Skate4Cancer)

"You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
-- Unknown

Any other ideas? Thanks.

You want a kick ass quote? No fucking joke, use it.

"We're going to meet a lot of lonely people in the next week and the next month and the next year. And when they ask us what we're doing, you can say, We're remembering. That's where we'll win out in the long run. And some day we'll remember so much that we'll build the biggest goddamn steam-shovel in history and dig the biggest grave of all time and shove war in and cover it up."

I wrote my own quote. I accompanied it with a couple outside quotes but really you should write your own. Who wants to be remembered for someone else's saying?

“Flesh is heretic. My body is a witch, I am burning it.”
-The Sounds of Animals Fighting

Students will go to school and be taught many things, but I’ve realized most students will learn very little. Now people say that one learns as much as one strives to learn in school, but that is a crock. Sure, students can be taught academics such as literature, grammar, mathematics, history, a variety of different science, and all sorts of other material that can be crammed into a brain like a stuffed closet. Much like a stuffed closet the content will spill over naturally and what one wants most to stay in the closet will stay. Look deeper into studies in school and do not take them for face value. Take your ideas further than just a number, a G.P.A. or class rank. Actually learn.

I love and thank the following: My parents for allowing me to meet some of the most intellectual people I have encountered and for the struggle that you endured for me. Thank you Nils, Krystyna, and Austen. Thank you to my friends for always being there and thank you hermit brothers for a wonderful four years. Thank you Michele for being my girl,

“It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything.”

mine was "youth's the most unfaithful mistress, but still we forge ahead to miss her. rushing our moment to shine" from the swiss army romance by dashboard confessional.

but i wish i would have used "here's to the fast times, the times we felt alive. to all the nights that we forgot to get back home." from the party scene by all time low.

i dunno. both of those just really summed up high school for me, lol

mine was...
"we're glad for what we've got, done with what we've lost, our whole lives laid out right in front of us" - straylight run

but me and my friends toyed with the idea of taking a song or part of a song and dividing it up amongst us so as you went from one of us to the next you had like all the lyrics in order. we just couldn't all agree on one song.

in the great scheme of things though, while i occasionally peruse my senior yearbook and glance at the pictures and quotes, it's not that big of a deal so don't stress over it too much. and enjoy senior year, it was definitely one of the most fun and unique years in my life. college is a blast, but some of my all time favorite memories will forever be from senior year of high school.

that straylight run quote is like, perfect. one of my friends was going to use it. but decided on a bible verse instead? lol

and yeah, senior year was the best. i'd kill to go back to it. my best friend and I stayed up until 3 in the morning on the phone last night playing "remember that one time when..." and everything we said was about senior year. good stuff haha

yea i feel like i was lucky to be a senior when i was in terms of using that quote cuz it was literally about 4 months or so after they'd formed that i chose it so nobody else knew who they were let alone used it as their quote. i wouldn't be surprised to find out if every yearbook in the country had that quote in it now.
