ok so i work with this guy that i like, and i think he might like me too..so what should i do let him know how i feel or wait for him to make the first move... should girls or guys be the one to do the asking out? i mean i know either, but i dont want to look like im coming on too strong.

Um I always appreciate the girl first. Guys are less likely to deny, girls seem to have way higher standards. You should definitely do a background check on him though. I started working at hollister and 3 different girls asked me out on a date, 2 of them I work with. I have a girlfriend. So now everytime we work together it is really fucking weird, not by my volation but theirs.

Just ask him if he wants to hang out after work.

the thing about that is we both close and we dont get out of work until like 12am and i have school. but tonight a bunch of people from work are going out to eat after we close and i invited him to come and he said he probably will. so i'm pretty excited.

Just ask to hang out. I really don't understand why people in these sort of situations don't just say how they feel. Instead they just let it play out into some game.

I understand it sucks to be denied but I rather try then not say anything at all.

I recommend asking him out. He will appreciate your honesty and forwardness. Most of the time, guys are left with girls dropping various indicators of interest, which at times can be extremely cryptic.

Im pretty sure he was being sarcastic. Have you ever read these forums? At least half the people here are sarcastic and post "funny" answers.

dude i know that he was being sarcastic. and yes i know that people post stupid (not really all that funny besides a few) answers. and btw im probably one of the most sarcastic people, so i can tell when someone is being sarcastic.

Joke.

Also, I'm like four years your senior, I hardly think you can get away with calling me a kid.

But, really, if you like this guy, just ask him if he wants to hang out. People make this "first move" thing too big of a deal. If he doesn't respond well, just drop it and move on. No harm done.
