I noticed that Drive-Thru Records supports a lot of unsigned, smaller bands. I once picked up a Little League Records (now LLR Recordings) split compilation with DTR and was sort of surpised, since I know DTR is, and should be, considered a major.

I guess I made this topic to see what other labels/bands Drive-Thru has worked with in the past. If anyone knows a lot about DTR's history, please inform me on how that stuff works.

(p.s., why is there a Drive-Thru Records link on Eat/Sleep Records [www.eatsleeprecords.com]?)

Well a lot of times the link could just be because a band from one label came to drive thru and they cut a fair a deal or whatever so they left on good pages, jsut stupid stuff like that. Drive thru used to do a lot of work with MCA before they broke off into Geffen and whatever else happened to that. Drive thru however is not a major label at all, this is why many bands that stay on drive thru will ultimately break up, because they no longer have the capability to support themselves because Drive Thru does not pay a lot of money. But to the underground scene Drive Thru appears to be huge, its not.
