I have no desire to talk to her, but her new boyfriend feels the need to confront me online anytime i do something that remotely involves her (i.e. write a song roughly based on our experiences).

She works at a store that i frequent, and im usually good at avoiding her. But today i had no such luck and had to face her. Im currently awaiting her boyfriends next online verbal assault telling me to stay out of her life. Kid is a meatball.

We ended our three year relationship for good in may, and i havent spoken a word to her till today. It was, to say the least, awkward.

not looking for advice really. Maybe opinions. I just think the whole situation is funny. Jealousy is so lame. Why dont people realize it is the easiest way to ruin a relationship?

I hear ya, dude. My ex's boyfriend and I see each other all the time when we're home because we go to the same gym. Kid always complains that I make it awkward, but I don't do anything. She tells me this and I tell her to have fun with the insecurity. Not to mention we haven't dated since high school and I'm now almost 20 years old. People are fucking dumb.

Not to be that guy... or a seem like a douche, but sometimes everyone has a breaking point. I am experiencing this situation currently or something along the same lines. Needless to say I have a breaking point to where enough is enough. The threats, the stupid cocky remarks, the whole tough guy act my ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend is currently putting on throwing my name around is just to the point where it needs to stop. I am at the spot where something has to be done so I can look out for myself and continue living my life. Him throwing my name around just keeps me tied to the past and my ex. I don't talk to her anymore and I'm glad I got out of it. Yes it ended bad but not everyone likes to be chummy friends with an ex after a long relationship. There is a point where I am just going to say fuck it and confront him in person and see if he backs all the internet and back talk face to face. If he wins great, he can brag and it can be over...if I get the best of him it should teach him to stay out of others lives and worry about his own.
