Don't necessarily have the highest expectations for the movie, but this has to be the best trailer I've seen all year.

And I really don't like Samuel L. Jackson as the bad guy.

I thought he was great in Shattered Glass and Life as a House. Star Wars, not so great.

I've never seen Shattered Glass and I didnt really care for Life As A House.My hate is probally contributed to the fact that im a huge Star Wars geek

Fair enough. Although I'd direct about 75% of that hate directly at Lucas. Whether or not Christensen is actually a good actor, no one sounded good in those movies considering the terrible dialog they were speaking.

Agreed. I always defend him with those two films when people say he's a terrible actor. Whose to blame? Mr Lucas.

It's based on a science fiction novel. I haven't read it though, so I don't know how good the source material is. Reminds me of Night Crawler too.

literally just saw it...a little disappointed. an entertaining movie, but the official trailer was so good i had huge expectations. it was short (under 90 mins) and then when i looked into the movie and saw that they are planning to make it a trilogy i got a little excited and now i kind of want to read the novel. i just hope some one else makes the next two movies. or at least writes them...

the ending of that movie didn't make it seem like there would be any sequel/trilogy to it.

the movie had holes in it, the potential was there. i was saying that i hope they fix the movie in the next two tries.
