I've heard good and bad things about this movie.

I'm not a big fan of most current comedies, but i did enjoy SUPER BAD and OLD SCHOOL. Is HOTROD similar?

i usually hate really pointless, dumb films but this was really funny i even bought the dvd. so yes it is worth it.

So its one of those "brainless" comedies. Nuts, because I really wanted to stop by Redbox and pick this up.

a lot of the jokes are hit or miss, but the good ones make it worth watching. i enjoyed it.

It's Napoleon Dynamite meets something like Vision Quest.

There are some really dumb funny moments in it, where you're like "Wtf," but overall, it's not bad.

The Cool Beans remix made me lol.

Bill Hader is the only good part of this movie, if you are a fan of him its worth it. But I couldn't stand this movie it reminded me too much of Balls Of Fury which was another bad movie.

Redbox info: my friend had a promo code to rent a free movie from there for one night. the code was (oddly enough) "redbox". so try typing that in for a free movie. Another interesting thing, is that when we rented it, i tried using my AAA card and it worked! I don't know how. I just figured i'd try anycard with a magnetic strip. hope you can put that info to use.

Sadly, this movie is kind of weak overall...

But there are at least 2 scenes that I can remember where me and my friends fucking lost it and laughed pretty hard!

If you're with friends, definitely watch this movie with them.

I really thought that Balls of Fury was gonna be pretty funny...

It had Walken for god sake and still was a let down!

I'd say Yes it would be a good rent, its funny enough for one watch.


Its got some really good parts in it, and some others that will make want to stop watching because it is just way to stupid

Is this movie similar to Wet Hot American Summer at all? Because Wet Hot is my favorite comedy of all time... but I didn't think this looked that great. But I heard that it's similar.

The people who hated on this movie must take themselves really seriously.
