I am a huge fan of David Gordon Green; I haven't seen Undertow, but All The Real Girls and George Washington are two of the best films of the past ten years. So this should be pretty damn good. Plus anyone who uses a National song in their trailer is ok by me ("Slow Show").

I've never seen any of his previous films but this looks extremely promising. Seems as though it will be quite some time until I get a chance to see it.

True. I know the book is usually better but I'm just really excited to watch the film. Have you actually read it?

I've seen Undertow - I thought it was depressing.

This movie is really good - one of the best of the year I think

this was the same as every dgg movie to me (with the exception of pe, cause that's completely different).

it was alright, but i felt like it was lacking something. although, this is the better film of all his other ones. i enjoyed this one more.

but it falls into the same category as all his others, where one watch is more than enough for me.

I haven't seen this yet but I probably will soon because it's been sitting on my computer for a while.

I enjoyed aspects of this movie, but I thought overall it was completely average. And definitely depressing as hell.

One of my surprises this year; likely to fall in my top fifteen.
