Gamers: NBA 2K8 vs. NBA Live 08 (PS3)

I need a new game and haven't gotten my yearly basketball game yet. I read through reviews for both 2K8 and Live 08 for the PS3 and I'm still stuck on which to buy. Can anyone help me out? What do you think the improvments and set-backs on each game are. And does 2K8 still do that annoying stop-motion like shot thing and the post game was always kind of shotty IMO. And Live has just been terrible for the last couple of seasons. Any help would be great!

There is no way Live is worse than 07. I played one game of it at a friends house and enjoyed it but I'm curious about 2k8.
