I hate high school, and I know everyone says that. it's because high school kids are insanely boring. I find myself constantly lying so that I won't have to go out with my friends on the weekend to a party, or something equally stupid. I feel like I've kind of outgrown them, and that annoys me even more than they do. I feel like I shouldn't be tired of them, but when I force myself to do something with them everything they do bothers me even more. and whenever I tell someone how I feel they say that I should just stick it out, and that I'm being antisocial. idk, maybe I should. maybe I'm missing all the best things about being a teenager. this is stupid to complain about, but it's really been bothering me lately.

yeah, there's already kind of a thread about this. It'll solve you're problems.

that seems like the exact opposite of what I posted. my friends invite me places, I just don't go because I hate them.

So let me get this straight, your friends are boring, so you avoid them so you can spend your time by yourself? Shall we try again to figure out who is boring.

Find friends that don't go to your high school. It worked for me.

And anyway high school just blows, either hunker down and get used to it, or drop out.

if they want to spend time with me I must be at least somewhat interesting (if only to them), but they're still boring.

Note to anyone else who feels the need to post one of these threads: If something is wrong see a doctor, if it doesn't warrant a trip to him then shut up, we all went through it. You will find no sympathy on AP.net

You need to grow up or AP.net should delete the personal life section of the forum. I think the people will chose the first option.

But for real, this girl is an idiot.
Maybe rikfrommf would like to spend some time with you?

If you find THEM boring. Stop being their friend and find some people who you don't find boring. It's a simple idea.

yeah, it's that simple. It's always that simple, yet why do people post threads like these?

because they're morons who want attention without leaving their room.

Yeah, I guess you're right. She seems like a retard, and she's about the same age as me. This is the exact stereotype I dislike. Let me go to that other thread with this perfect example; isn't it just funny how the threads in the personal life forum just connect?

Why don't you invite your friends to do something you like and take it from there. It's understandable that you feel you've out grown them, I felt like that too once; but you can't blame them for wanting to have fun. Either way, you are most likely being anti social. =p

if you want to skip your teenage years, then by all means go ahead, you're not missing much, and by the time you're 25, you'll either realise you're still a teenager, or you'll laugh off those awkward years. Go find some older friends, do your own thing. School is school, with peer pressure and all, it sucks major shit but like someone else said on here: if it bothers you so much, either tough up and ignore your peers or drop out. :) Feel better!

My senior year was the best year of my life so far... besides my freshman year at college. So I guess suck it up because there are good times to be had.

when i was in high school i kind of did the same thing sophmore year, i ended up hanging out with older people. i mean it was alot of the same activities, just with more mature people. i understand what you are saying though, i dont know about the lying part though... thats kind of mean. maybe you should try to broaden your horizons on what is is you guys are going out and doing?

Exactly. That's what I had to do. Or college kids/kids that had already graduated from my high school.

Sounds to me like you need some new friends.
if you friends bore you, then they're not really what you're looking for in a companion.
